Martha Whitsel
Martha Ann Whitsel, age 65, of Royston, Ga., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at her son's home in Martin.
She was born on April 29, 1955 to the late Auther Dutton and Mary Lou Smith Dutton in Franklin County, Ga. She was a CNA in the nursing industry and of the Christian faith.
Mrs. Whitsel is survived by her husband, Leon Whitsel; children: Terry (Angela) Phillips, Timmy Phillips, Chad (Retha) Phillips, and Chris Phillips; grandchildren: Jesse Gentry, Kayla Phillips, Courtany Aylesworth, Carli Phillips, Austin Parker, Candice Phillips, Kaitlyn Phillips, and Austin Phillips; eight great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Wilene and Cathy Dutton. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: J.C Dutton, James Dutton, Thomas Dutton, Wayne (Edith) Dutton, Paul Dutton, and Sue Ray (Rufus) Pearson.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 8, in the Coile and Hall Funeral Directors Chapel, 333 E. Johnson Street, Hartwell. 
All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, Hartwell.
