Where do your sales tax pennies go?

Hart County's seven percent sales tax sees four pennies of every dollar going to the state for sales and use tax and three staying local. The local pennies are split between the local option sales tax (LOST), special purpose local option sales tax (SPLOST) and education SPLOST, or ESPLOST.
