The 2026 Northeast Georgia Ag Expo returns to the Hart County Agriscience Center on Saturday, August 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and it’s shaping up to be the biggest and most exciting one yet.
This free community event celebrates our region’s rich agricultural roots with a full lineup of exhibits, hands-on activities and family-friendly fun. Attendees can explore a wide variety of indoor and outdoor agricultural displays, vendor booths, educational exhibits and interactive demonstrations.
There will also be a panel discussion with local ag experts, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the agricultural issues affecting our region.
“This event is a great way for the public, especially our youth, to connect with agriculture in a hands-on, meaningful way,” said Brian Fleming, a member of the Ag Expo planning committee. “We want to inspire a deeper understanding of where our food comes from and grow respect for the people who make that possible.”
Admission is free, but registration is required for the Pedal Tractor Race and Antique Tractor Show. Register online at www.hart-chamber.org or in person at the Hart County Chamber of Commerce Office, 10 South Carolina Street, Hartwell. Same-day registration will also be available, but Antique Tractor participants must arrive by 8 a.m. to unload.
Parking and admission are free at the Hart County Agriscience Center, located at 1951 Bowman Highway.
