North Georgia Credit Union (NGCU) has been honored by The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates as the 2025 Credit Union of the Year in the category for credit unions with up to $150 million in assets. The award was presented during ENGAGE 2026 and recognizes NGCU as the top-performing credit union in its asset category among affiliated credit unions across Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Virginia.

The Credit Union of the Year Award recognizes credit unions that demonstrate excellence in daily operations, financial performance, innovation and community engagement. According to The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates, recipients represent the very best of the credit union movement through their commitment to serving members and strengthening the communities they serve.
