Hart Partners' Summer Bookmobile is celebrating its 25th anniversary and is already on the road stocked with free books to give to area children.
The bus will be out in the community on Wednesdays and Thursdays through July 23. Children are welcome to board the bus to pick out a new free book at any stop.
Wednesday's schedule includes:
• 9 a.m. – Pre-School Summer Transition program at Hartwell Elementary School; 9:30 a.m. – HeadStart; 9:45 a.m. – YMCA; 10:15 a.m. – Bright Promises in Hartwell; 11 a.m. – New Hope Day Care; Noon – Skelton Homes with food truck; 12:45 p.m. – Migrant Program and Pre-School Summer Transition Program at South Hart Elementary School; and 1 p.m. – Quality Foods, Dollar General and Walmart.
Thursday's schedule includes:
• 9:30 a.m. – Bright Promises in Royston; 10 a.m. – CSP in Royston; 10:30 a.m. – Shining Star Therapy Services; 11:15 a.m. – HYDRA; 11:45 a.m. – Leard Street apartments with food truck; Noon – Rome Street apartments with food truck; 1 p.m. – Walmart, Quality Foods and Dollar General; and 1:30 p.m. – McDonald's.
