Hart County and the Town of Bowersville are working to update their comprehensive plans, the document that helps shape and coordinate local work programs.

North Georgia is growing, and residents and businesses are drawn to the area for industry, the mountains and lakes and the rural lifestyle of the many charming small cities and towns in the area.

Online surveys are available anytime through July 30.

Both entities have two upcoming meetings scheduled, with additional future meetings expected.

The county's meetings will be held Monday, June 22 and Monday, July 13, both at 6 p.m. in the lower level of the Adult Learning Center, located at 110 Benson St.

Bowersville will hold its meetings at Bowersville Town Hall Tuesday, June 23 and Monday, July 6, both at 6 p.m.

Questions or comments should be directed to Georgia Mountains Regional Commission Planning Director Adam Hazell at 770-538-2617 or ahazell@gmrc.ga.gov.
