Hart County Charter System
The Hart County Charter System is excited to announce the dates, times and locations for the 2026 Summer Meal Program, designed to ensure children in our community have access to nutritious meals during the summer months.
The program will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during two periods: June 2-25 (Monday-Thursday) and July 6-20 (Monday-Thursday).
A mobile meal delivery service will run on scheduled days with multiple community stop locations providing meals at designated times. This service ensures that children across Hart County can easily access free meals at locations near their homes. Meals are available to all children ages 18 and under at no cost.
Below is the schedule of mobile meal delivery services:
• Hart County Old Recreation Department – 220 Clay St. – 10:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
• Sardis Baptist Church – 4359 Anderson Highway – 10:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
• South Hart Elementary – 121 E&M Dairy Road – 10:45 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.
• Hart County Middle School – 176 Powell Road – 11 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
• North Hart Elementary – 124 Ankerich Road – 11:10 a.m. to 11:25 a.m.
• Hart County High School – 59 Fifth St. – 11:20 a.m. to 11:40 a.m.
• Royston Wellness Park – 179 Skelton St., Royston – 11:25 a.m. to 11:40 a.m.
• Jones Circle (July dates only) – 340 Jones Circle, Royston – 11:50 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.
• Leard Street (Ware) – 82 Ware St. – 11:35 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.
• Rome Street – 95 Rome St. – Noon to 12:15 p.m.
• Skelton Homes – 100 Skelton Homes Circle – Noon to 12:15 p.m.
• Hodges Mill – 496 Hodges Mill Road – 12:20 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
In addition to mobile meal locations, Hartwell Elementary School will provide breakfast and lunch service June 15-18. On July 20, breakfast and lunch will also be available at Hartwell Elementary, North Hart Elementary and South Hart Elementary.
“Our goal is to make sure students continue to have access to healthy meals even while school is out for the summer,” Trae Jones, Hart County Charter System nutrition director, said. “This program provides an important resource for families and helps keep our children nourished throughout the break.”
