Hart County Head Start
Early Head Start and Head Start registration is now available through Ninth District Opportunity's Hart County Head Start and Early Head Start program.
Early Head Start is available for children ages six weeks old through three years old, while Head Start students must be three or four years old by Sept. 1.
Head Start provides quality learning, family support, nutritious meals, health and development and disability and mental health services at no cost.
Required documentation when registering includes:
• Proof of age (birth certificate/birth record/passport); and
• Proof of income or public assistance documentation.
Children in foster care, families receiving public assistance (SNAP/Food Stamps, SSI or TANF) or those experiencing homelessness are automatically eligible.
