The community garden located in Hartwell’s Rome neighborhood does not currently have running water, which is a top priority for the garden’s volunteers.
The garden currently has a few vegetables and flowers planted. The lack of running water limits how much the volunteers can plant (empty flower beds can be seen in the distance). The garden’s volunteers seek more volunteers, as well as donations and gardening advice.
The community garden in Hartwell’s Rome neighborhood needs additional volunteers, participation, and donations–and not just from Rome residents.
