Freeman helps create Barbie’s first Black doll with Down syndrome
Taylor Freeman, a 21-year-old college student from Clemson helped create the first Black Barbie with Down syndrome.
Last spring, the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) worked with Mattel, the toy company responsible for the Barbie line of dolls, to create a new Barbie with Down syndrome.
