A straight-line wind event did severe damage on Saturday evening along Highway 77. The storm ripped the roof off of the Hicks family barn and destroyed a large number of trees.

At approximately 10 p.m. last Saturday night, a straight-line wind event caused severe damage to the Hicks family properties belonging to brothers Bruce and Brian Hicks.
