A monthly initiative is creating opportunities for job seekers and career changers across Hart County. Workforce Wednesdays: Skill Up and Stand Out is quickly becoming a valuable resource for residents looking to strengthen their resumes, explore local job opportunities and gain the confidence needed to succeed in today’s workforce.
Workforce Wednesdays will be held on June 10, Aug. 12 (Career Fair) and Oct. 14 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Adult Learning Center, located at 110 Benson St. The program offers free, hands-on support tailored to individuals at any stage of their career journey.
Participants can receive one-on-one assistance with resume creation and updates, guidance through job applications and practical interview preparation. In addition, attendees are introduced to local career opportunities and connected with resources that help them build in-demand skills.
The program is a collaborative effort among community and workforce partners, including Archway Partnership, Hart County Chamber of Commerce, Hart County Industrial Building Authority, the Technical College System of Georgia and WorkSource Georgia Mountains. Together, these organizations are working to strengthen the local workforce pipeline and support economic growth in the region.
“Workforce Wednesdays is about meeting people where they are,” organizers shared. “Whether someone is entering the workforce for the first time, changing careers or re-entering after time away, we’re here to help them take that next step.”
