This is not a complete list. Please check with your church or any business you wish to patronize before making the trip. More businesses and agencies are changing their hours or closing everyday. Businesses and agencies in Hart County that have closed or altered their operations due to the novel coronavirus pandemic and the state and national states of emergency include:

EVENT CANCELLATIONS

Hart County Board of Commissioners — March 24 regularly scheduled meeting has been canceled. 
Lake Hartwell Beekeepers Association
 — canceled April 2 meeting.
Antique Boat Festival — canceled. 
Presidential preference primary — postponed to May 19, early voting canceled, already cast ballots will count
Little League baseball — All activity, including Saturday’s opening day, have been suspended until March 27. Rescheduling will happen later
Small Business Lunch and Learn, Hartwell DDA — new date TBD
Bowersville — town hall is closed and the March 19 meeting is canceled
Adult Learning Center Spelling Bee — new date TBD
Rotary Club of Hartwell weekly meetings — canceled through March.
Red Shoe Party for NEGA Casa — canceled

Hart County Transit — Rides only for essential things like groceries and medical appointments. 
Studio 4 Whole Health — closed through March 31
Hart County School System — closed through March 31
Hart County Library — closed through end of March. books can be returned in the book deposit slot or hang on to them. Fines will be waived for late books and movies in March. E-books are still available at hartcountylibrary.com and free wifi is available in the parking lot.

Hart County Tax Appraisal office — asks that all busines be conducted by phone, mail, email or drop box at the office.
Hart Telephone Company — closed to public, can be reached by phone: 706-376-4701
Hart County Farm Bureau — closed to public, can be reached by phone: 706-376-3121
Zaxby’s — dining room closed, drive-through open
Empire South — modified hours: Mon-Sat 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Dairy Queen — dining room closed, drive-thru open
Bell Family YMCA — no group fitness classes, Pickleball, or organized basketball. Walking trail is open and upstairs fitness center is open.
Hartwell Art Center — closed through the end of March
Holly Thomason State Farm — office is closed to walk-ins but open for business via phone.
Hart Habitat Reclaim Store — closed through March 27
American Legion Post 109 — April meeting canceled.
AARP Tax Aide — canceled until further notice
