An event coming to downtown Hartwell will offer local women a chance to “she shop, sip and snack” this December.
The Jingle and Mingle event promises to be a ladies’ night out that will include several downtown stores and restaurants from 4-7 p.m. on Dec. 5.
Participating businesses will place luminaries in their windows and offer specials during the event. Participating businesses are Dressing Dreams, Elsie Bee Originals, Empire South, Flower Cottage, G’s Southern Traditions, Hang It Up Gallery, Javasana, Porch and Home, South Forest Station, Southern Hart Brewing Co., Sweet Peas, Tena’s Fine Jewelry, Twelve South Gallery and Vintage Willow Antiques.
Students from Youth Leadership Hart will be wrapping gifts purchased during the event at the Annex of the Art Center on Howell Street.
Southern Hart Brewing Co. will also be hosting a special night with Terrapin Brewing where husbands and boyfriends can spend time while their significant others shop.
Carolers will also be walking around downtown Hartwell singing Christmas songs.
The event is put on to promote locally owned, small businesses in the downtown district.
