The Hart County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

April 28

Shun O’Neal Allen, 39, 1299 Bodie Rayle Road, Elberton, was arrested and charged with DUI alcohol, open container and speeding. 

April 30

• James Derrick Collier, 41, 10 Ed Smith Way, Royston, was arrested and charged with DUI alcohol, failure to change address on driver’s license, possession of methamphetamine and speeding. 

May 2

• Donald Travis Wilbanks, 29, 87 Lightwood Lane, was arrested and charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police, DUI alcohol, driving while license withdrawn, failure to drive within a single lane, improper passing, no insurance, open container, possession of less than an ounce  of marijunana, reckless driving and speeding.

May 3

• Jimmy John Johnson, 38, 1906 Ridgeview Road, Lavonia, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, battery family violence, obstructing or hindering persons making emergency telephone call and willful obstruction of law enforcement officers by use of threats or violence.

• Walker Blueford Watson, 28, 402 West Broad Street, Louisville, was arrested and charged with DUI alcohol, failure to stop for a stop sign, open container and tag light illumination required.

The Hart County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

April 27

• Deputies responded to Boleman Hill Road regarding a report of a missing person. The complainant said she had not seen her adult son for more than a day after he left with an unknown woman on the previous day. The complainant made contact with her son, who said he was staying at a trailer park, through Facebook messenger. The complainant wanted deputies to find her son because she was on his bond for a possession of meth charge. Deputies advised the complainant that her son is not considered missing because he is an adult and she knows his whereabouts.

• Deputies responded to Lecroy Lane regarding a report of stolen property. The complainant did not wish to pursue criminal charges.

April 28

• Deputies met with a complainant at the sheriff’s office about a domestic situation. 

• A man was issued a warning citation for dogs running at large after a woman reported the man’s dogs attacked her dog in her yard. 

April 30

• A woman reported that a tree fell on her car on McCurry Road.

May 1

• A man reported that someone damaged his grandmother’s property on Evalena Drive.

May 2

• Deputies responded to Ridgeview Road regarding a domestic violence incident. A man was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated assault, among other charges.

• Deputies responded to New Prospect Road regarding a report of a theft by taking. The complainant said her purse, located inside her home, went missing while she was in her backyard cutting grass. Deputies spoke with two suspects but did not retrieve the purse.

May 3

• Deputies responded to Wolf Creek Trail regarding a report of a verbal domestic.

• Deputies responded to Vickery Street Extension regarding a report of a domestic dispute.

May 4

• A man reported that someone trespassed on his property on Air Line School Road.
