    The Hart County High School football team had its first competition of the 2022 season with a scrimmage at Westside High School in Anderson, S.C.

    The Bulldogs played two South Carolina teams in the Gridiron Classic on Friday, Aug. 12 and narrowly beat both of them in games that each lasted only one half.

    In the first game, Hart was on defense first and was unsuccessful in stopping the Westside Rams from marching down the field and scoring. The Rams missed the extra point and went up six over the Dogs.
