End of council meeting becomes tense before executive session
Hartwell resident and Franklin Springs Police Chief Kevin Thompson holds up a “15-page memo,” which discusses complaints about Parkdale Drive. Thompson claimed the memo contained unnecessary personal information about him, including his place of employment and title.
Monday’s Hartwell City Council meeting came to an explosive and sudden end after a public comment regarding an incident from the November meeting sparked a heated discussion.
