A man is behind bars after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase through Hartwell exceeding 100 m.p.h. in a 45 m.p.h. zone last Saturday morning.
Saverio Antonious Belton, 25, 287 Finley Street, Anderson, S.C., was arrested on Feb. 15 and charged with two counts of felony fleeing or attempting to elude police as well as drug charges after he allegedly led police on a high-speed chase that began in Hartwell.
