Christopher A. Carter, 41, of Royston, died Jan. 21, 2020. Arrangements will be announced by Mack’s Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Hartwell Chapel.

Mericus Jerome Scott, 18, of Royston, died Jan. 20, 2020. A funeral service was held Jan. 26. Mack’s Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Hartwell Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Matthew Smith, 83, of Royston, died Jan. 25, 2020. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Bowman. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.

Carole Wilcox Haynes Williams, passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her children on Jan. 10, 2020.

Connie Kesler Smith, 68, of Hartwell, died Jan. 15, 2020. At her request, no services will be held. Berry Funeral Home & Crematory of Elberton is in charge of arrangements.

Annie Lou Roling, 88, of Danielsville, died Jan. 18, 2020. Funeral services were held Jan. 20, in the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel in Royston.
