Maxine Jahnke
Mrs. Maxine L. Jahnke, age 85, of Hartwell, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at her home.
She was born October 27, 1936 to the late Clarance Bauer and Etta Stimer Bauer in Ann Arbor, MI.
Mrs. Jahnke was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed walking, bird watching, animals, and collecting plates. She was a homemaker and housewife.
She is survived by her husband, Jerome Jahnke; children: Jeffrey Jahnke, Louis Jahnke; grandchildren: Erin, Scott, Rachael; and great-grandchildren: Jordan and Logan. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dawn and brother-in-law, Donald.
At her request, cremation was chosen and no services will be held.
The family has entrusted Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E Johnson Street, Hartwell, GA to care for them during this time.
