James Dubeau
James Edward Dubeau, age 78, of Benson Street, Hartwell, Ga., peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Rainey Hospice House.
He was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, on August 9, 1943 to the late Joseph Francis Dubeau and Nancy Bruner Dubeau. James graduated from Albany High School in 1961. He received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in engineering and math from Auburn University in 1965 and was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. James spent most of his career as a Financial Advisor. He was a member of Smoke Rise Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, loved his grandchildren and watching their sporting events. James loved football. 
He is survived by his wife, Debra Robinson Taylor Dubeau; children: Thomas Joseph Dubeau (Melissa) of Frisco, Texas, Brock Hamilton Taylor (Britt) of Dacula, Ga., Gretchen Taylor Childs (Walker) of Watkinsville, Ga., and David Robinson Dobbs of Hartwell, Ga; grandchildren: Noah (Emily), Alex, Chase, Hamilton, Brody and Brooke, and one sister, Susan Dubeau Powell (William) of League City, Texas.
A celebration of James' life will be held at 2 p.m.  Monday, November 8, in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Rev. Ernie Forrester will officiate. The family is at the home and will greet friends immediately following the service.
