Frank Brian Thurmond, 43, of West Shore Drive, Newnan, Ga., passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Piedmont-Newnan Hospital, Newnan.
Born on April 22, 1978 in Augusta, Ga., he was the son of Charles Frank Thurmond and Lynn Bullock Thurmond. Brian was a production manager for Elite Comfort Solutions, and formerly employed by Tenneco of Hartwell
Survivors include his wife, Julie Vickery Thurmond; father, Charles Thurmond of Hartwell; mother,  Lynn Thurmond of Lincolnton, Ga.; a son, Billy Bentley of Connecticut; five daughters: Felicia Thurmond and Trinity Thurmond both of Oklahoma, Brittany Cothran (Brad) of Canon, Ga., Katie Christian (Joey) of Elberton, Ga. and Elizabeth Sanders (Justin) of Canon; a sister, Brandy Tischofer (Russell) of Connecticut; five grandchildren: Kayleigh Fleeman, Case Cothran, Kaytryn Christian, Cole Cothran and A.J. Temples.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Dr. Keith Shorter officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer.
