Bobbie T. Ballenger
In loving memory of Bobbie Thrasher Ballenger, age 53, of Hartwell, Ga. She went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019, at Piedmont-Athens Regional surrounded by her family.
She was born Oct. 5, 1966, in Hart County. She was store manager of South Forest Station, an advocate with Northeast Georgia Council on Domestic Violence, after serving with Chastity Counseling for 10 years. She was a member of Reed Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Toney Thrasher of Hartwell; husband, Ricky Ballenger; and son, Chase Moriarty of the home; her daughter, April (Brett) Weaver of Anderson, S.C., Andrew (Whitney) Ballenger of Hartwell, and Alex (Nicole) Ballenger of Maysville; sister, Robin (Todd) Dahlman of Cornelia; grandchildren: Sam Verner, Colton and Paxton Weaver of Anderson, S.C. and Bella Anderson of Hartwell. She was predeceased by her father, Joe E. Thrasher.
Services celebrating the life of Bobbie Ballenger were held on Friday, Oct. 18, 2019, in the Coile and Hall Funeral Home with the Rev. Grant Myerholtz officiating.
To all family, friends, customers, and store "family", the beloved community, Chase's teachers and school "family", we extend our greatest love and praise for all that you did to help us get through this time. For all the prayers, love and friendship. For the food, cards and money and most of all the kindness and love our broken hearts so needed.
