Hart County Charter System’s overall College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) score continues to increase from previous years, but it slipped just below the state average, according to a report released last week by the state Department of Education.

With the report, local and state officials also expressed concern with how the index is measured, according to a release from the Georgia Department of Education.

The 2019 CCRPI district score for Hart County is up nearly three points from last year at 75.5, compared to last year’s 72.7 score. It is the highest CCRPI score the school system has ever received. However, the state average, 75.9, was slightly above Hart County’s score.
