The 22nd annual Polar Bear Plunge and Winter Festival will be held Saturday, Feb. 24 at Hartwell Marina. The event is a benefit for the Northeast Georgia Council on Domestic Violence.

The Hart County girls and boys basketball team each faced Morgan County in the semifinals of the 8-AAA tournament at Emmanuel College Feb. 9. The girls lost 50-43 while the came up short, 57-44.
