Mrs. Linda Phillips Dove, 69, of Eagle Grove School Road, Bowman, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville, S.C.
Born on August 17, 1949 in Royston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Tolbert Phillips and Vallie Fowler Phillips. Mrs. Dove was a former supervisor in the garment industry and co-owner and business manager of Emmanuell Poultry Farm. She was a member of the Price Chapel Church of God, where she was a member of the choir, praise team and sung specials. She attended "We Have a Hope Christian Ministries" and was passionate about helping others to be a part of that experience.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Dove; a daughter, Stephanie Mason (Kenneth) of Canon; two sons: Greg Dove (Terri) of Canton and Brian Dove (Krista) of Bethlehem; a sister, Ethel Evans of Lavonia; a brother, Richard Phillips (Faye) of Rydal and eight dearly loved grandchildren: Tyler Mason, Heather Mason, Charlie Langley, Hannah Langley, Callie Langley, Kaden Hill, Baxter Dove and Bishop Dove.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m.. Sunday, June 9, at the Price Chapel Church of God with the Rev. Johnny Stowe and Rev. Gary Thompson officiating. Burial was in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Price Chapel Church of God, 687 Providence Church Road, Lavonia, GA 30553.
