Kenneth F. Bailey, 87, of Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell, went home to our Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 1, 2020.
Born on September 17, 1933 in Hartwell, he was the son of the late Cullen Jackson Bailey and Ruth Griffin Bailey. Mr. Bailey was a retired driver for Loadstar Truss Company, former loom fixer for Newton Mills, and former owner of Bailey's Service Station. He was also a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church and the McDoyle Sunday School Class. Mr. Bailey was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War, and a member of the VFW.
Kenneth was a loving father of Susan Bailey (Harold) Harbin, Tonya Bailey (Daniel) Bridges, and the late David Kenneth Bailey. His grandchildren include Kevin Edward (Beth) Allen, Garrett Daniel Bridges, Brooke Amanda Bridges, Jordan Elijah Bridges, and Luke Ian Bridges. Great-grandchildren include: Blaire Hayden Allen and Brynn Holland Allen He is also survived by a brother, Ray Bailey (Joan) of Hartwell. Kenneth is predeceased by his parents; his wife, Patricia "Patsy" Patten Bailey; one brother, Thomas Bailey; and one sister, Faye B. Adams.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 3, at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with the Rev. Jason Webb officiating. 
Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 2973 Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell, GA 30643.
