With a playoff seat secured, the Hart County High School Bulldogs will look to improve their seeding on Friday in a region battle against the other Bulldogs in the region, Morgan County (7-2, 4-1).

Hart County (7-2, 3-2) has the chance to become the No. 2 seed out of Region 8-AAA with at least a nine-point win over Morgan County. A loss will drop Hart to the No. 4 seed.

If Hart wins Friday, and Monroe Area beats Franklin County, three teams will hold a 4-2 region record — Hart, Morgan and Monroe Area — with Jefferson at the top (8-1, 6-0). The seeding would then be determined by head-to-head match ups, which Hart would hold over Morgan, but not against Monroe Area. However, Morgan County already holds the head-to-head win over Monroe Area, so the seeding would then be determined by point differentials.
