A battle for the best runners in the region will take place this morning, Oct. 24, as the Hart County High School cross country team travels to Franklin County for the Region 8-AAA meet.
“I think we’re about as ready as we can get,” Hart County head coach Cecil Marett said. “The boys hope to be battling for a region championship. Jefferson is going to be tough to beat.”
Hart County has proved to do well on Franklin County’s course so far this year, even against region opponents. The Bulldog’s boys took first place at the Franklin County Invitational on Sept. 14 with runners in first, second and third place spots.
